1. Wash your hair less often than in the summer
We all know that washing your hair too often can do more harm then good, but this is especially important in the fall, as the scalp produces more sebum in order to protect it from drying out. To maintain healthy scalp, it is recommended to wash your hair two or three times a week, using products tailored for your hair type. However, remember not to wait longer than necessary to wash your hair. If it absolutely needs washing – do it! Otherwise, you will unnecessarily burden your hair roots with sebum.
2. Apply the mask generously
Applying a mask to your scalp after washing your hair is a great way to keep your scalp healthy – no matter what shampoo you use. A good mask, used twice a week, will not only soften your strands, but also prevent them from tangling, which reduces breakage!

PROTIP: The mask works best applied to washed, gently towel-dried strands. After application put a foil cap and a towel over your hair. You can additionally heat it with a dryer.
3. Remember about oiling
If you’re looking for some extra help to get rid of split ends and damaged strands, try adding deeply nourishing oils such as coconut or jojoba oil to your routine. Oils left on the scalp and hair for about 2 hours on a regular basis will repair the damage caused by the summer sun and sea water.
4. Nourishing the strands
No time to use the mask and oils on a regular basis? On days when you have less than 5 minutes to wash your head, choose an instant smoothing conditioner without parabens and artificial dyes, which will quickly care about the hair and scalp. Remember to squeeze the excess water from your hair before applying the conditioner – thanks to this, the product will be better absorbed by the hair.
PROTIP: If you would like to add extra color – you can mix the rinse with a conditioner. Thanks to this your strands will gain fashionable color and a healthy shine, characteristic of well-groomed hair.
5. Enrich your diet with supplements
Remember that diet plays a vital role in the health of your hair, so make sure you are getting enough nutrients from food sources such as oily fish (salmon, mackerel, herring), nuts (walnuts, macadamia) and leafy vegetables (spinach, beet leaves) ! In addition, during the period of reduced immunity, use supplements such as biotin or vitamin C, which will strengthen your hair strong and make them more resistant to falling out.
